Terms of use

Last updated May 2026.

By using Edunector you agree to these terms. They apply to all visitors, students, parents, and tutors.

1. What Edunector does

Edunector is a tutor-introduction platform. We help students discover verified tutors and introduce both sides over email so a free first session can be arranged. Once a session happens, the tutoring relationship is between the tutor and the student — Edunector is not a party to that contract.

2. Account responsibilities

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account. Parents may use the platform on behalf of minor students.
  • One account per person. Tutor accounts must use real legal names and accurate credentials.
  • Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us immediately if you suspect a compromise.

3. Anti-bypass policy

Sharing personal contact details (phone numbers, email addresses, social handles, WhatsApp / Telegram links) in profile text, lead messages, or reviews is not allowed. Our admin team is the single introduction point. Repeated bypass attempts result in account suspension. The detection is automated; appeals are reviewed by a human.

4. Tutor obligations

  • Hold the qualifications you claim, and provide proof on request.
  • Respond to leads honestly. If you can't take a student on, say so promptly so admin can re-match.
  • Don't solicit payments through the platform — pricing is between you and the student.
  • Mark attendance accurately. Backdating sessions is grounds for removal.

5. Student obligations

  • Give honest details when submitting a lead — fictional enquiries waste tutor time.
  • Reviews must reflect a real session you attended. Fake or paid reviews are removed and the account suspended.

6. Money

Edunector does not process payments today. Students and tutors arrange payment directly. We may introduce platform-mediated payments in future; if so, separate terms will apply and we'll notify you before enrolment.

7. Refusal of service

We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, abuses the introduction flow, posts illegal content, or repeatedly attempts to bypass anti-spam protections. We'll explain why where we can.

8. Disclaimers

Verification badges reflect documents that admin reviewed off-platform — they don't guarantee teaching quality. We make reasonable efforts to vet tutors but the tutoring relationship and its outcomes are between the parties involved.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms: use the admin email below. We'll respond within 7 working days.
